I am sure other food blogger can attest to the fact that when you tell people you bake or cook, they expect you to prove it. My coworker Ashley asked me to make her, and I quote “those Oreo ball things.” So I made her those Oreo ball things. I am very excited for her to try them!
- 1 Package of Double Stuff Oreos
- 1 Package (8oz) Cream Cheese at room temperature
- 1 Package Vanilla Almond Bark
Put all Oreos in a food processor and pulse until very fine. Mix Oreo crumbs and cream cheese together very well. Roll into small balls and set on a greased baking sheet. Once all the dough is mixed together, stick a toothpick into each ball. This will help you dip the truffles. Set the truffles in the freezer for 30 minutes. Just before taking truffles out of the freezer, melt the almond bark in 30 minute increments in the microwave, stirring after each increment. Take truffles out of the freezer and dip in chocolate, garnish with crushed Oreos if desired. Enjoy!
Tip: I use floral foam to help the truffles dry.
